The Kansas City Chiefs have solidified themselves as the team to beat in the NFL again and they're in a prime position to defend their title as Super Bowl champions. Travis Kelce, the All-Pro tight end for the Chiefs, spoke out on the lone blemish on Kansas City's otherwise perfect season.

“I think we’re the most dominant team in the National Football League,” tight end Travis Kelce told PFT after Sunday’s win over the Panthers. “We lost to the Raiders [and] in my opinion we shouldn’t have. Would’ve, could’ve, should’ve.”

Following their victory over the Carolina Panthers in Week 9, the Chiefs have an 8-1 record, giving them the second-best record in the NFL. Kansas City's only loss came to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5 in a peculiar outing from the reigning Super Bowl champions.

It was Patrick Mahomes' first loss to the Raiders as a starter and the defense uncharacteristically allowed 40 points to their AFC West foes. Nevertheless, the Chiefs have since won four straight games by an average of 16 points.

While the Pittsburgh Steelers are the only team that remains undefeated, most people believe Kansas City is still the most complete team in the AFC. Besides the surprising loss to the Raiders, the Chiefs have been utterly dominant despite seemingly cruising in the regular season.

When a team wins the Super Bowl, they typically have a target on their back each week, getting the best from each team they face. Even though he believes they shouldn't have lost to Las Vegas, Kelce is confident that there isn't a team playing better football right now than the Chiefs.
