The Kansas City Chiefs may be in some sort of purgatory right now, but star safety Tyrann Mathieu has been having another fine campaign.

Mathieu has been named to the All-Pro First Team three times already, including in the past two seasons, and it won't be surprised if he snags a third consecutive nod this year. Especially with his solid showing recently, as he has only allowed 24 yards receiving in the last five weeks.

Mathieu posted the tidbit on his Twitter and issued a stern 10-word warning to the rest of the NFL.

Mathieu will have to maintain his impressive performances as the Chiefs hope to enter the NFL Playoffs with a late surge. They improved to 4-4 in Week 8 after escaping the New York Giants behind two gusty fourth quarter field goals from kicker Harrison Butker.

The 29-year-old Mathieu was instrumental in the Chiefs' Super Bowl win 2019, providing ample support to star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Things, however, haven't been as smooth this season, with Mahomes struggling in arguably the worst campaign of his young career.

But the Chiefs still have time to turn things around, and Mathieu's confidence is a good indicator. Coach Andy Reid has admitted their shortcomings but said they're “fighting through it” and trying to build on their latest win.

The road doesn't get easier though as the Chiefs host Aaron Rodgers and the rest of the surging Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
