Speaking during his introductory press conference with the Dolphins on Thursday, Hill was straightforward with his explanation on why he agreed to leave the Chiefs for Miami. More so, he will miss not playing alongside Mahomes anymore.

“It's tough,” Hill said. “But somebody comes to you with a lot of money, it changes.

“I even had a conversation with Pat. That's my brother for life, no matter what. We don't even got to be on the same team. Pat, Kelce. … I'm gonna miss those guys. I know those guys still gonna ball cause they Hall of Famers.”

Mahomes will now call upon wide receivers Mecole Hardman, JuJu Smith-Schuster and Marquez Valdes-Scantling to help rise to the occasion for the team following Hill’s departure. The likes of Josh Gordon, Corey Coleman and Justin Watson may be provided with the valuable opportunity to be Mahomes' No. 4 wideout option in the 2022 campaign.

In the big picture, it will be noteworthy to see on whether the Chiefs plan on bolstering their wideout depth in the 2022 NFL Draft.
