The Tyreek Hill situation may be moving toward a resolution.

The embattled Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver had an eight-hour interview with the NFL on Wednesday, an interview that was said to be “very thorough,” according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Hill is under fire for child abuse allegations that surfaced in March, ultimately resulting in the removal of Hill's three-year-old son from the home of Hill and his fiance.

The 25-year-old was investigated for alleged battery after an incident in which his son suffered a broken arm.

However, earlier this month, prosecutors announced that the case against Hill was inactive, as it was ruled that Hill's son broke his arm in an accident, with the injury likely occurring as the child was bracing for a fall.

Regardless, given Hill's checkered history, this entire situation is obviously alarming, and as a result, the Chiefs have not permitted him to participate in offseason work thus far.

It is not yet clear if Hill will be in attendance at training camp, which begins on July 23. Even though Hill is not facing criminal charges, he could be suspended by the NFL.

The Douglas, Ga. native is coming off of a 2018 campaign in which he hauled in 87 receptions for 1,479 yards and 12 touchdowns en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Hill has made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three NFL seasons and has notched First-Team All-Pro honors twice.
