Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill and dual-sports legend Bo Jackson share almost nothing in common.

Hill is a diminutive wide receiver whose one and only profession is football. Jackson, on the other hand, was one of the most powerful running backs ever while also starring as an outfielder for multiple MLB clubs.

But they do have one very notable commonality: speed.

Denver Broncos head coach Vic Fangio praised Hill's burners ahead of a Week 13 matchup between the Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. Fangio called Hill the fastest receiver he has seen, adding Bo is the only comparison to Tyreek in terms of sheer speed:

“Tyreek Hill is definitely the fastest receiver I’ve seen in my days in the NFL and that’s a lot of days,” Fangio said, via Mike Klis of 9News. I think the only offensive guys I can compare to him from a speed standpoint, one would be Bo Jackson.”

Hill's speed has made him one of the most dangerous weapons in football.

The 26-year-old is having another terrific season in 2020, ranking second in reception yards (1,021) and first in touchdown grabs (13). Hill also has a rushing touchdown, for good measure.

Still, a comparison to Jackson is pretty big stuff for the two-time All-Pro.

Jackson's combination of power and speed made him arguably the greatest athlete ever, and also one of the foremost “What If?” stories in the history of sports. He has become something of a legend through time, and many of his runs still stand as the greatest in league history.

Needless to say, Fangio understands just how challenging it will be for his secondary to keep tabs on Tyreek Hill, especially after he ripped the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for over 200 yards receiving in just one quarter last weekend.
