The Kansas City Chiefs offense has shined through the first quarter of the 2019 season without star wide receiver Tyreek Hill, but head coach Andy Reid said that Hill will participate in practice Wednesday ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

Hill suffered a dislocated collarbone during the team's Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He caught two passes for 16 yards before leaving the game with the injury.

When Reid was asked about his status for Sunday night's game against the Indianapolis Colts, he didn't seem too interested in discussing it, but we should have a better idea as the week goes on and he gets a couple of practices under his belt.

Injuries are never a good thing but there is a silver lining with this one, as it allowed other guys to step up. Without Hill, Sammy Watkins, Demarcus Robinson, and Mecole Hardman all stepped up and filled in while he was out. So far this season Robinson has caught 14 passes for 250 yards and three touchdowns. Last season he caught only 22 passes for 288 yards and four touchdowns.

Second-round pick Hardman has also been strong catching eight passes for 167 yards and two touchdowns. If Hill comes back, Hardman will have his role decreased, but he has proven that he still deserves some snaps and is going to be a big player going forward for this team.

The Chiefs have a 4-0 record already and now have a couple of tough games coming up against the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans. If Hill can make it back for one or both of those games, it would be a boost to the offense.
