Three important members of the Kansas City Chiefs' high-powered offensive attack did not take part in Monday's practice.

Tyreek Hill, Spencer Ware, and Sammy Watkins all missed practice, which may raise some concerns ahead of the team's showdown with the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday night.

Hill left Kansas City's Week 14 game against Baltimore with a heel injury before returning, while Ware exited with a shoulder injury.

As for Watkins, it's no surprise to see him out of action since it was reported last week that he could be sidelined until the playoffs.

However, it's still not ideal for the Chiefs to have these kinds of injury issues prior to one of the biggest games of the season. Kansas City holds a one-game lead over Los Angeles in the AFC West standings, and both teams are wanting to have a shot at locking up home-field advantage.

But the Chargers are dealing with their own injury problems, as starting running back Melvin Gordon's status is uncertain after not playing against the Cincinnati Bengals. And then there's backup running back Austin Ekeler, who is  now in concussion protocol.

So, Andy Reid and company would love to get some of their offensive weapons back on the field for the clash at Arrowhead Stadium, as it would help the Chiefs move a step closer towards securing a division title.

After this week's game, Kansas City will finish up the regular season with matchups against the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders.
