Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is inactive for Week 4. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, he's expected to be the same next week. He is expected to undergo tests leading up to Week 5 on his shoulder injury, which will determine how long he will be out. “The unbeaten Chiefs will not rush him,” according to the report.

Before Week 4's game against the Detroit Lions, Hill was seen running routes.

Hill sustained the shoulder injury in the first quarter of Week 1. Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey hit the wide receiver while he was going out of bounds. Though an aggressive hit, it wasn't flagged as dirty. After a trip to the hospital, the verdict was that Hill will not need surgery.

Hill officially sustained a sternoclavicular joint injury, which would sideline him for 4-6 weeks, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Kansas City did not place him on injured reserve.

The Kansas City offense hasn't skipped a beat since Hill's injury. The Chiefs remain 3-0, and are averaging nearly 34 points per game. With the speedy wide receiver out, they've focused their efforts on other talented skill position players, including tight end Travis Kelce, running back LeSean McCoy and wide receivers Sammy Watkins, MeCole Hardmon and Demarcus Robinson.

When Hill comes back, the Chiefs offense will be that much scarier, as in year two of the Patrick Mahomes era they have failed to regress.

The 2-0-1 Lions may witness that on Sunday in Detroit, especially considering that their lockdown cornerback, Darius Slay, is out.
