Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill is under investigation for alleged battery against a child, The Kansas City Star's Steve Vockrodt and Brooke Pryor reported on Friday, citing a report from the Overland Park Police Department.

The Kansas City Chiefs have confirmed to The Star that they are aware of a law enforcement investigation involving wide receiver Tyreek Hill.

The Star has obtained a police report from the Overland Park Police Department about a battery incident that lists a juvenile as the victim.

Hill's fiancee, Crystal Espinal, is listed on the police report as “others involved.” A source with knowledge of the situation told The Star that Espinal, pregnant with twins, has been in contact with local police. The couple's young son is reportedly the victim of the alleged incident. Hill has not been charged with a crime, and it's unclear if charges will eventually be brought against him.

The three-time Pro Bowler was arrested on December 12th, 2014 after Espinal, his girlfriend at the time and pregnant with their son, accused him of domestic assault. Hill ultimately pleaded guilty to domestic assault and battery by strangulation, being sentenced to three years of probation and other reform programs for domestic abusers. He was also kicked out of Oklahoma State as a result of the charges.

Hill, who slid on draft night due to concerns related to his previous legal troubles, has been one of the league's most dynamic players since being taken with a fifth-round pick in 2016. The 25-year-old is up for a contract extension this offseason.
