Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill had suffered a hamstring injury in the win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11. Fortunately, he appears to be on track to play in this week's pivotal AFC West matchup against the Oakland Raiders.

The Chiefs are coming off an extra week of rest thanks to the bye. According to BJ Kissel of the team's official website, it has helped Hill practice in full on Wednesday:

RB Damien Williams is the only guy who won’t practice today for the Chiefs, per Andy Reid.

Good sign for Tyreek Hill, Kendall Fuller and Alex Okafor.

This is certainly an encouraging update for Kansas City. Although the prospect of running back Damien Williams being sidelined leaves a notable void in the offense, the fact that other key players are able to log in a full practice is a positive heading into Week 13.

Hill had injured the hamstring early in the first quarter during the 24-17 victory over the chargers. While he was seen on the sidelines, he was never able to make his return to the game. There is no question that his absence left the Chiefs without a much-needed element of explosiveness in the passing game.

Kansas City would ideally like to be at full strength in what could be a deciding divisional matchup with Oakland. All signs point to Hill at least being in the mix, which will pay huge dividends for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Regardless, it is still safe to assume they will take a cautious approach with the hamstring since these injuries have a tendency to linger if aggravated.
