Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes recently revealed to everyone that he is an avid ketchup lover. With Thanksgiving festivities looming around the corner in a couple of weeks, the 2018 NFL MVP shared that he wanted ketchup all over the meals placed on the table come the holidays, via TMZ Sports.

“Yeah, dude, I mean come on,” Mahomes said. “You got to put ketchup on that!”

Patrick Mahomes had claimed before that he likes to put the condiment all over steaks, eggs as well as mac and cheese. He even inked an endorsement deal with Hunt's ketchup a few years ago to show his love for the product.

It seems like ketchup served as his ‘secret sauce' after all these years where he recently garnered significant success on the field. In the early stages of his playing career, Mahomes has already reached the pinnacle of the league and established himself as one of the best young quarterbacks today.

Patrick Mahomes, who led the Chiefs to a win in Week 11 against the Las Vegas Raiders, has already amassed two Pro Bowl appearances, a First-Team All-Pro appearance, an NFL MVP award, a Super Bowl title, and a Super Bowl Finals MVP honor. The Chiefs also rewarded him the largest contract in American sports history after both sides agreed to a lucrative 10-year, $503 million dollar extension which will run through the 2031 NFL season.

Currently in the fourth campaign of his young playing career, Patrick Mahomes will continue on his journey to becoming one of the league's greatest players. Perhaps, he has ketchup to thank for all the success that he has accomplished thus far.
