The Kansas City Chiefs have an unbelievably elite offense, but they may be on the verge of becoming even better next season, believe it or not. The Chiefs are being connected to free agent running back Le'Veon Bell, and this could put the number one offense in the NFL over the edge.

CBS Spors Jason La Canfora reported the rumors surrounding the Chiefs and Le'Veon Bell.

“Despite all of the talent they have already amassed on that side of the ball, and despite their obvious issues on defense, they are sniffing around on trade options and some teams I spoke to wouldn't be shocked if they got in on Le'Veon Bell. Bottom line is don't be shocked if these guys come away with a big-time receiver or running back.”

The Chiefs had a good thing going at the end of the season with running back Damien Williams, but if they have a true chance at adding Bell, they would be foolish not to try.

Kansas City has without a doubt the league's most promising young quarterback and a scary variety of offensive weapons. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes, wide receiver Tyreek Hill, and tight end Travis Kelce are young stars who have catapulted the Chiefs to the top of the league on offense. With the addition of Bell, it would be virtually an unbeatable and unfair offense for opposing defenses to game plan for.

The league will have to wait and see where Bell winds up, but the Chiefs are apparently a viable option for the former All-Pro back.
