Jalen Ramsey may have played his last game in Jacksonville, and it looks like the Kansas City Chiefs are a top potential landing spot, with Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reporting that there is a “strong sentiment” the Chiefs will acquire the cornerback.

Ramsey got into a heated sideline confrontation with Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone during the Jags' loss to the Houston Texans on Sunday afternoon, and afterward, Ramsey asked for a trade.

Tension between Ramsey and the Jaguars has been building all offseason.

It began back in June, when Ramsey spoke out about failed contract extension talks between him and Jacksonville's front office. The Jags were not willing to meet Ramsey's asking price, which irked the Pro Bowler.

Ramsey then showed up to training camp in July in an armored bank truck, and while he insisted later that it was all in good fun, it was obvious that there was a growing problem between Ramsey and the organization.

Now, with the Jaguars having gotten off to an 0-2 start, frustration has boiled over.

Ramsey is under contract through 2020 and is earning $3.6 million this season. He is scheduled to make $13.7 million next year.
