The Kansas City Chiefs clobbered the Buffalo Bills and will now face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Super Bowl to defend their title. The Chiefs are the clear favorite and should win, even with Tom Brady on the other side.

On the daily Locked On Chiefs podcast, Ryan Tracy and Chris Clark were joined by Matt Derrick for a breakdown of the AFC Championship Game. All three believe that Kansas City has been the top team all year long and should finish off the season with another title:

Derrick: Yeah, this game was never close. It was a 14-point game, but it was not that close. Hey, the Chiefs beat someone by more than one score, so go crazy. I think we can stop with that now. The Chiefs have gotten everyone’s best shot all year. They got paired up with the second-best team in the AFC and, frankly, pantsed them on the biggest stage. It was never close. I think you are clearly seeing a team that, barring maybe a couple of injuries right now, should win the Super Bowl. They absolutely should. This is the best team in the NFL right now.

Clark: I think you have to look at it and say that they were in this game and everybody who was calling the Chiefs, saying that they could not win the big one or they were not scoring enough, or they were not blowing people out, I think Kansas City was slow-playing a lot of teams this year. I think they knew what they were trying to do, and they got back to where they were trying to go.
