Just like that, the fat lady was singing in Mexico. The Los Angeles Chargers found themselves with an opportunity to beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Mexico City in the fourth quarter of the contest. However, safety Daniel Sorensen ended those efforts.

Watch below. On 2nd-and-10, at the 14-yard line, with 24 seconds left in the ballgame, Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers chucked up a pass to tailback Austin Ekeler. The result: an interception, the fourth thrown by Rivers in the game.

While Ekeler is one of the NFL's best receiving running backs, Rivers' target to him is questionable. Sorensen read Ekeler's wheel route like a book, in turn, giving him an easy interception to seal the game. The Chiefs left Mexico with a 7-4 record, while the Chargers fell to 4-7.

Rivers in back-to-back primetime games has thrown a total of seven interceptions, three against the Raiders and four against the Chiefs.
