Kansas City Chiefs safety Daniel Sorensen swooped in for a clean pick-six off a Drew Lock pass, returning it for 50 yards leading up to the touchdown.

Sorenson completed his third career touchdown as the veteran leads the Chiefs defense to a strong effort early in the game.

The score gave the Chiefs a 17-6 lead on the Denver Broncos midway through the third quarter. The Chiefs were able to get off to an early start in part due to Patrick Mahomes stellar start to the contest. He's completed six of his nine passes for 94 yards thus far.

The defending champions have also made use of recent pickup Le'Veon Bell in his debut with the Chiefs. He's rushed for 19 yards off three carries in efforts with fellow halfback Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He's completed three carries as well for 17 yards along with one touchdown. The Chiefs will look to improve to 6-1 upon making short work of the Broncos in Week 7.
