The Kansas City Chiefs are rolling against their divisional rival, the Oakland Raiders. In the second quarter of the 2019 Week 13 iteration of a storied rivalry, rookie Juan Thornhill picked off Raiders quarterback Derek Carr for a 46-yard touchdown.

Watch below. Carr targets the middle of the field, which Thornhill was hoping for. The rookie, hailing from Virginia, exploded on to the ball, caught it, turned on the burners and left the Raiders in the dust.

The result of the score? A commanding 21-0 lead over the Raiders. The pick-six is helping the Chiefs' efforts of solidifying the division, as Jon Gruden's Oakland squad has been contending with Kansas City for the crown of the AFC West.

It appears as if the Raiders won't be getting by the Chiefs. They won't do so in large part due to Thornhill's efforts, which took the air out of Oakland's visiting sideline.
