The Kansas City Chiefs were officially able to welcome back quarterback Patrick Mahomes against the Tennessee Titans. He and tight end Travis Kelce were able to pick up where they left off.

Mahomes found Kelce for a nifty shovel pass to cap an 11-play, 69 yards drive to take a 7-0 lead, via NFL Twitter:

It is undoubtedly encouraging to see Mahomes picking up right where he left with one of his favorite targets in the passing game in Kelce. He had been sidelined for three weeks while recovering from a dislocated kneecap and head coach Andy Reid was hesitant to declare his status for Week 10. Fortunately, he is looking like his usual dominant self thus far.

Meanwhile, Kelce continues to make his case as one of the best tight ends in the NFL. Despite his prowess as a pass-catcher, he has not found paydirt much in the 2019 NFL season and is now up to three touchdowns on the year.
