The Kansas City Chiefs offense was on a whole different level last year. It seemed they were turning out massive plays every other minute and simply couldn't be contained. It's still the preseason (Week 3 to be exact), but it looks like there will be more of the same in 2019. Of course, with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, that will probably be the case for a long time.

This time it was Mahomes finding running back Damien Williams for the long touchdown pass.

A lot goes on here. First of all, that's a gorgeous pass by Patrick Mahomes. There's a reason he was the MVP last year and he's considered the brightest young star at the quarterback position.

Then there's Damien Williams. He could have a major role this year and put up very solid numbers. He showed that the Chiefs are in good hands with this play.

Great route, good catch and amazing run after catch. He jukes the first man breaking the tackle, then is off to the races. It's nice having a player that can outrun the entire defense. It feels like Kansas City has about 10 of them.

The Chiefs lost but have to be feeling really good about what they saw out of both Mahomes and Williams. It's looking like this will be another year of a ridiculously high-powered offense that defenses will have constant nightmares about.

It might just be the preseason, but that first team offense is definitely clicking for the Kansas City Chiefs. With just one more preseason week left, it seems like their ready for the regular season to start.

Expect a lot more of these exciting plays from both Patrick Mahomes and Damien Williams this year – a lot more.
