The Kansas City Chiefs have something to play for on Sunday and Patrick Mahomes is doing everything he can to get the victory. The gunslinging quarterback threw a strike to Demarcus Robinson for an impressive touchdown to take back the lead over the Los Angeles Chargers.

Mahomes is capable of making any throw and he's even better when he has plenty of time in the pocket. Without any pressure impeding on him, Patrick Mahomes set his feet and delivered a precise pass to Robinson in the end zone.

Earlier in the season, Demarcus Robinson appeared to be heading towards a decent-sized role in Kansas City's offense. But over the second half of the season, he's been nearly nonexistent in the passing attack, despite the presence of Patrick Mahomes.

Nevertheless, his touchdown against the Chargers gives him his fourth receiving touchdown of the season. It comes at a perfect time as the Chiefs could improve their playoff seeding with a win and a loss from the New England Patriots in Week 17. That combination of results would bump the Chiefs up to the No. 2 seed, giving them a first-round bye.

If the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes win, they would at least hold off the Houston Texans for the No. 3 seed in the AFC.
