After failing his physical just days before the start of Miami Heat training camp, it now appears that Chris Bosh‘s time with the franchise over.

But even after being forced to cut his past two seasons short due to blood clots, the 11-time all-star is not ready to give up on playing in the NBA just yet.

Appearing in a video on Uninterrupted, Bosh discussed how he initially felt when he found out he was not cleared by his team and what his motivation is to continue to work hard and play at the highest level once again.

“I want my children to know that daddy was a fighter and he just didn't give up very easily. What I would say to the people who just see the money and kind of see my situation and say, ‘Hey, just walk away,' I get it. I totally get it. I understand you. I hear you. But I'm not really thinking about money. I'm just thinking about where my heart is. I love the NBA. I love playing basketball every day for a living.”

Bosh certainly does not lack the desire to make a successful comeback. The question on everybody's mind, though, is whether or not his body will allow him to. Should he eventually be cleared to play by the league, he can still generate a lot of interest from teams, especially contenders, looking for a veteran stretch-four.

Since the Heat's “Big Three” era where the Georgia Tech product transformed his game, Bosh has become an effective shooter that spaces the floor well to make room for his teammates to attack the rim.

Most of all, it's the winning attitude that will make Chris Bosh most valuable. At 32-years-old, he has already won two NBA championships and played with the game's best. Bosh can serve as a locker room leader and mentor to the young players of the team that will sign him.
