Jimmy Butler hasn't even played a game for the Philadelphia 76ers, and yet one NBA insider wouldn't be surprised if the four-time All-Star is traded again at the February trade deadline.

Chris Broussard of Fox Sports appeared on the Colin Cowherd Show Monday and said that if Jimmy Butler isn't on his best behavior in Philadelphia, the Sixers could be tempted to move the 29-year-old swingman.

“Jimmy Butler is a tremendous player, both sides of the floor,” Broussard said on The Herd. “But I’m not so sure Minnesota didn’t win this play. [Robert] Covington is a very good two-way player – he defends, he’s tough. [Dario] Saric can shoot a three.

“Philadelphia, on paper it’s fine – the problem is you have no shooting. JJ Reddick’s your only shooter – he needs to start, put [Markelle] Fultz on the bench. I think there’s two ways I’m sceptical. Butler wants to be the man. He’s the third guy on that team. The order is [Joel] Embiid and [Ben] Simmons first and then Butler. Can he handle that?

“Number two is – your game is your game. And Jimmy Butler is ball-dominant and decent three-point shooter… So the floor is going to be spread. I don’t know if I see that fit. If it’s clearly not working, I may trade Butler in February.”

Jimmy Butler is one of the best two-way players in the game. However, he's been a locker room issue with the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves. In Minnesota, Butler butted heads with Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. If Butler, for whatever reason, beefs with Embiid or Simmons, the Sixers would have to trade him since Simmons and Embiid are the future in Philadelphia.
