It is no secret that Chris Paul is a close friend of Dwyane Wade‘s. They go on vacation stogether, ride banana boats together, and they have played together for Team USA on a number of occasions.

Due to their bond, it’s unsurprising that CP3 has an informed opinion on Wade’s recent move from the Miami Heat to his hometown Chicago Bulls.

The Los Angeles Clippers point guard made it clear that Dwyane's decision was not a shock to him, per Mike McGraw of the Daily Herald:

“I wasn't that surprised ” said Paul on Monday. “You're talking about one of my best friends. I'm just happy for him. Chicago got not only a great player, but a great guy. For him to be coming home, you guys got a treat.”

Paul is open about his frequent discussions with Wade and Cleveland Cavaliers superstar and 2016 Finals MVP LeBron James:

“We talk about everything. It doesn't matter if he asks for our advice, me and LeBron are going to give him our opinion all day long.”

Chicago Bulls games will make for an interesting watch in the upcoming season. The Windy City franchise picked up free agent Rajon Rondo, as well as Wade, to join Jimmy Butler and a decent supporting cast.

Fred Hoiberg has a lot of work to do, as their back-court players need to find a way to work together and shoot at a better rate than they did last year, individually.

One thing that is certain is that Chris Paul will be routing for his friend to succeed, unless Chicago is playing the Clippers.
