Teams are hoping to do everything in their power to make the trades necessary to get themselves to improve. The San Francisco 49ers played a part in this with their trade acquiring wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. It has worked well in completing the offensive system that Kyle Shanahan wants to run and sets them up for the playoff run they are looking to have.

However, they are gaining interest in selling their backup quarterback, CJ Beathard. He's a player that has shown that he can produce in spurts if given an emergency and can work as a bridge quarterback for any team.

There are a few teams that could use the services of Beathard, but they're going to need to do it at the right price. Here are three trade scenarios for the third-year quarterback.

3. Cincinnati Bengals

There is going to be a changing of an era happening in Cincinnati. With talks that the team might move on from Andy Dalton, the team could use a quarterback for when they're finding their long-term answer. And now is the time to do it, especially after the Dalton experiment didn't pan out the way the Bengals' franchise hoped.

His touchdown to interception ratio is at nine-to-eight, his completion percentage (60.4) is the third-lowest of his career, he's currently posting a career-low passer rating 79.2, and he is a significant reason why his team is 0-8. It's time for them to make the change now.

The default trade for Beathard is likely going to be a sixth-rounder, so that's where we're going to keep it at for a while.

2. Denver Broncos

Before the regular season began, the 49ers and Broncos were in trade talks for one of San Francisco's backup quarterbacks. Now should be the time for them to make a move for Beathard.

Not only is the team thinking of placing their starting quarterback Joe Flacco on injured reserve, but the development of rookie Drew Lock isn't there yet. If they put the Super Bowl XLVII MVP on IR, then they will likely have to throw Lock to the wolves or start Brett Rypien.

Neither of those options is good, especially with forcing Lock in when he's not ready — making a move for Beathard now after much consideration before the season makes the most sense.

Although the team has already made a previous trade with the Broncos for their new wide receiver in Emmanuel Sanders, however, the team could get one of their former picks that they gave up back from the Broncos for the services of the former Hawkeye.

1. Chicago Bears

There is some speculation that the Chicago Bears are looking for a quarterback in a trade before the deadline. And they're one of the teams interested in the University of Iowa product, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

It's no secret that the team is experiencing a major lull due to the lack of production from their third-year quarterback from the same draft as Beathard: Mitchell Trubisky. The former second overall pick has completed 126 of his 195 attempts for 1,092 passing yards and five touchdowns to three interceptions. It's a significant drop-off from where he was last season and what the Bears expected from him going into this season.

Chicago is a playoff team when they have productive and consistent quarterback play. They have the defense and offensive-minded coach to get it all going for them. However, with their lack of effectiveness at the quarterback position, the team won't make it. Meaning it's time for a change.

Plus, the team has a former Kyle Shanahan disciple on the roster that would fit well in a trade. Making a move for receiver Taylor Gabriel would be enough incentive to help make this trade perfect. The Bears get a capable quarterback and Shanahan gets someone that's used to his system. Everybody wins.
