Staples Center has seen few empty nights during the playoffs until now. Once it was announced that Blake Griffin and Chris Paul would be out with injuries for the rest of the post season, some of the air came out of their teammates will, and the fans seemed to have felt the same loss of enthusiasm. The news of the playoffs went from the Clippers being able to beat a  Warriors team without Stephen Curry, to losing both of their star players at the same time, all in one day.

Staples Center looked so empty when the game started that it looked as if there were two teams with losing records playing a meaningless game.
