Coming off a huge road win against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, the L.A. Clippers are understandably on a high right now. Furthermore, they received another good news ahead of the second game of their back-to-back set versus the Sacramento Kings as Blake Griffin and Milos Teodosic are slated to return to action, according to ClutcPoints’ Tomer Azarly.

Griffin missed the team’s past two-games after suffering a concussion on Saturday versus the Warriors. He had to undergo a series of tests first before being cleared by doctors to play once again. Teodosic, on the other hand, was on the shelf in their past three games recovering from the foot injury that forced him to exit the game against the Oklahoma City Thunder last week.

The development is a huge boost to the Clippers who have been playing severely shorthanded recently. Already without Patrick Beverley and Austin Rivers, the team needs all the help possible in order to string a few more wins together.

They remain in the thick of the battle for the lower playoff seedings in the Western Conference with a 19-21 record — within striking distance of the New Orleans Pelicans and Denver Nuggets for one of the last playoff spots.

Now that the Clippers have more of their key players back, it will give head coach Doc Rivers more options and added depth to his lineup. It will also help manage the minutes of his other players who already had a lot of playing time the previous night. If the two come out and show that they have a lot of energy, it won’t be a surprise if the Clippers pull off their third consecutive game and move one win closer to returning to .500 for the season.
