Blake Griffin was involved in his fair share of exchanges during an emotional game, as his former teammate Chris Paul and the Houston Rockets made their first visit to Staples Center to take on his L.A. Clippers.

The 6-foot-10 forward was assessed a technical foul after having some choice words exchange with Rockets head coach Mike D'Antoni after being fouled. He was then later sought out, along with teammate Austin Rivers by several Rockets players after the game, allegedly seeking a back way to the Clippers' locker room.

Tempers flared throughout the game and the animosity remains between these two teams, as Paul's six-year run ended with him opting to be traded to the Rockets for nearly half of their previous roster.

In the midst of all the ruckus, Griffin took to Twitter to poke fun at the entire situation with a gif of The Joker.

The entire situation is being closely monitored by the league, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, who assured there will be no shortage of punished individuals.

The history between Paul's competitive nature clashing with his former teammates is now well-known by those who've read and heard the stories over the course of the offseason. But this dislike apparently runs much deeper than that.

James Harden, Trevor Ariza, Gerald Green, and Clint Capela were rumored to be part of a post-game fiasco, where they tried to look for Rivers and Griffin after suffering a 113-102 loss, snapping their three-game win streak.

The league office should shortly have a deliberation after all the details have been acquired in the investigation.
