The Los Angeles Clippers are the toast of the NBA right now after landing both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George this past weekend, and Fox Sports analyst Chris Broussard thinks they are the best team in the league:

It's hard to argue with that.

Broussard cites the Clippers' defense as the main reason why he thinks they are better than the Los Angeles Lakers, as the Clips have Leonard, George, Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell, which is an incredible defensive unit.

Not only that, but Broussard likes Doc Rivers more than Frank Vogel as a head coach.

At the moment, the Clippers do look like the best team in the NBA. They have the best player in the game in Leonard alongside of George, which gives them outstanding length and versatility on the wing.

They also have plenty of perimeter shooting, as Leonard, George and Beverley can all hit the three-ball, and Landry Shamet is also still on the team and can stroke it from long range.

In addition, Los Angeles brought back JaMychal Green to provide some extra frontcourt depth behind Ivica Zubac, which was a huge move considering the Clippers were looking a bit thin up front.

Basically, the Clips replaced Danilo Gallinari and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with Leonard and George, which is a massive upgrade, to say the least. Let's also remember that the Clippers won 48 games and pushed the Golden State Warriors to six games in the playoffs without Leonard and George this past year.

This is going to be a phenomenal ballclub.
