Danilo Gallinari has missed the last 10 games due to back spasms. However, the Los Angeles Clippers forward has recovered enough to play in Thursday night's game against the Indiana Pacers, according to a report from Andrew Grief of the Los Angeles Times.

In his 44 appearances with the Clippers this season (all starts), Gallinari has racked up averages of 19.0 points on 45.0 percent shooting from the field (44.6 percent from beyond the arc), 6.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 31.3 minutes per outing.

The Clippers have been active ahead of this season's trade deadline. On Wednesday, L.A. traded Tobias Harris to the Philadelphia 76ers as part of a multi-player deal. That means Gallinari will likely see an uptick in his usage rate on the wings.

As part of their transaction with the Sixers, the Clippers acquired Wilson Chandler, Mike Muscala, Landry Shamet, and two first round picks.

“We are excited to welcome Wilson, Mike, and Landry to the L.A. Clippers. Wilson is a veteran player we have long respected for his toughness, versatility and leadership. His hard-nosed mentality will fit right in with the rest of this group,” Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank said in a statement Wednesday.

“In addition to Wilson, Mike, and Landry, we obtained multiple draft assets that will be important building blocks as we continue to carry out our long-term plan — to construct a sustainable championship contender.”

The Clippers, who are currently the eighth-ranked team in the Western Conference standings with a 30-25 overall record, have playoff aspirations. Whether or not those plans will come to fruition remains to be seen.
