L.A. Clippers coach believes that forward Tobias Harris will have a breakout year this season. As reported by Jay King of The Athletic, Doc Rivers said that the 26-year-old will have a stellar season:

The upcoming season will be Harris' first full season with the Clippers. To recall, Along with Avery Bradley, Boban Marjanović, a future protected first-round draft pick, and a future second-round draft pick, they were sent to the Clippers from the Detroit Pistons.

Harris was immediately slipped into the starting line up. In 32 games, Tobias Harris logged in 19.3 points per game, six rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.2 steals. Standing 6-foot-9, Harris is a versatile forward who can both drive to the hoop or nail shots from the outside.

Although Doc Rivers didn't explain exactly why Harris will have a breakout year, it's highly expected. For one, Harris will be motivated to show up on a nightly basis, as he's set to become a free agent at the end of the 2018-19 season.

The Clippers have fully let go of their big three in Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan, and Blake Griffin. This season will be a fresh start for the franchise, and Harris is among those Rivers is expecting to get ample production from on both ends of the floor.

Along with Harris, the likes of Lou Williams and Danilo Gallinari will be the team's main offensive guns. Avery Bradley, too, will be there to lend his offensive services but it's his defense that'll be his main tool.
