LOS ANGELES — Doc Rivers' Los Angeles Clippers were among the teams mentioned as having plans for the national anthem during opening night of the NBA's restart.

The news, which was first reported by the Los Angeles Times' Brad Turner, mentions at least eight teams that will take part, including the Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and defending NBA champion Toronto Raptors.

On Tuesday, Rivers was asked what the team's plans are for the national anthem with opening night just two days away.

“I really believe this, and I believe this for all of us what I call, ‘old folks.' We need to follow the youth on this movement,” Rivers said. “We need to follow what they want to do and listen to what they want to do and say, and then follow them. And so as a coach, I'm going to do that. I'm going to let my players lead, and I'll follow.”

Over the last couple of weeks, players from around the NBA have expressed their feelings on police brutality. LeBron James, Tobias Harris, and Paul George have led the way in calling for Breonna Taylor's murderers to be arrested and charged. The players, however, are standing up for every person who doesn't feel like they have a voice in today's day and age.

Opening night will feature the Utah Jazz taking on the Bucks and the Clippers taking on the Lakers. The matchups and whatever the four teams have planned will surely bring some fireworks to social media.
