Paul George and the LA Clippers suffered their 11th loss of the season at the hands of Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday night.

In his second season in the NBA, Morant has continued to electrify fans with his explosiveness and agility on the court. Not only has Morant impressed fans, but he's also caught the eye of stars around the league, including Paul George.

“I mean, he's just fun to watch,” George said. “There's no other explanation for it, Ja's just fun to watch. He's so athletic and so gifted, he's so agile. I mean, I could compare him to like Derrick Rose, with his explosiveness and ability to just shift his body, move his body in the air, you gotta compare it to someone like D-Rose. But he just makes highlight plays after highlight plays. And just makes it look easy out on there on the court.”

There's certainly something to what George is saying. Derrick Rose in his earlier years was an absolutely explosive monster that most teams found difficult to shut down, especially once he developed the mid-range jumper and three-pointer. In his second season, Ja Morant feels on par with Rose when it comes to the jump-shooting, but he still has a ways to go in other parts of his game.

Morant only had 16 points and seven assists for the Grizzlies in their win over the Clippers, but that was due to the blowout nature of the game. For the year, Ja Morant is averaging 19 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 7.9 assists on 46.1 percent shooting from the field.

The Clippers and Grizzlies go back at it again Friday night in the second-half of their back-to-back set.
