The NBA has a 12-game schedule for Martin Luther King's Day, and the Los Angeles Clippers are one of those teams that will be in action, as they face the Indiana Pacers.
Players from all throughout the league are looking forward to playing on this special day and honoring King for everything he has done.
Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue had this to say, according to Mark J Spears, a senior NBA writer for The Undefeated,
“It’s an honor to coach and play on MLK Day and that it brings the similar excitement to playing on Christmas. Lue said that the NBA does a great job of honoring MLK.”
Tyronn Lue is excited about the opportunity to play on this special day. On Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the NBA does something unique. They do an excellent job of recognizing King and everything that he has done for African Americans and Americans in general. He was a big contributor to the current state of the world, and America would not be the same without him.
The Clippers will be hoping for a win on this historic day. The Los Angeles Clippers will face a difficult battle because they are still missing Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. Others on the Clippers are going to have to step up if this team wants to make the playoffs and have a chance when their two stars return.
The Indiana Pacers have had a difficult season, and despite the absence of their two best players, the Clippers may be able to win this game.
