Jamal Crawford thinks fellow free agent guard Shaun Livingston would be “perfect” for the Los Angeles Clippers and the team's bench unit.

Livingston was waived by the Golden State Warriors, as the team revamped their roster following the departure of Kevin Durant. He played five season with Golden State, appearing in five NBA Finals and winning three championships.

The 33-year-old guard averaged 5.4 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists in his stint with the Warriors. He also shot 52.0 percent from the field during his successful time in the Bay Area.

As Crawford noted, it makes sense for Livingston to return to the Clippers — his first NBA team. The Clips drafted Livingston with the fourth overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft. The Illinois native spent three seasons with the team, with his fourth year spent on the sidelines after an ugly injury that kept him out of the whole 2007-08 campaign.

Interestingly, Livingston recently mentioned that he would love to finish his career where it all started. He believes he can be a good locker room presence for the Clippers and sees himself as an ‘ideal fit' on their roster.

Livingston is expected to have a number of suitors, thanks in large part to his championship experience. However, there's no doubt that it will be pretty cool to see him spend the final years of his career with the team that drafted him.
