Los Angeles Clippers rookie Jerome Robinson looks familiar. In fact, the 21-year-old bears a striking resemblance to Brock from Pokemon — especially when he's laughing or smiling.

ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly caught up with Robinson in the Clippers' locker room and asked the rookie about his similarity in appearance to the Pokemon character. The 21-year-old even double checked with fellow rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to make sure he really did look like Brock.

Robinson and Gilgeous-Alexander represent the youth on the Clippers roster. The lottery picks could be part of the backcourt of the future in Los Angeles.

Robinson comes in as a gifted scorer who can knock down shots from the outside. In his junior season at Boston College, Robinson averaged 20.7 points per game on 49 percent shooting from the floor and 41 percent shooting from behind the arc. The Clippers are hoping that his shooting touch translates to the next level. He may not be a consistent rotational player for Clippers head coach Doc Rivers this year, but his future is undoubtedly bright.

Gilgeous-Alexander, on the other hand, should see consistent minutes on a nightly basis. He's had a good showing in the preseason and he projects to be one of the first guards off the bench for Rivers. Gilgeous-Alexander is a lengthy guard who can do a little bit of everything. He can run the floor, rebound, defend, create plays for his teammates, and score as well.

Rivers has to love the young talent he has in the backcourt this season. Robinson and Gilgeous-Alexander look poised to develop into legitimate threats. Robinson may look like a Pokemon trainer, but don't let that fool you. He's a really talented basketball player.
