NBA Hall of Famer and Los Angeles Clippers consultant Jerry West believes Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are the best two-way players in basketball.

Leonard signed a three-year deal with the Clippers, who traded for George after receiving a commitment from Leonard. West says it's remarkable LAC was able to get two superstars on the same night.

“I try to be completely fair and honest to all the players in the league. But honestly think they're the two, two best-way players in basketball,” West said on the Dan Patrick Show. “And to get them in one night is pretty remarkable.”

Kawhi Leonard is arguably the best player in the NBA today. The three-time All-Star and two-time Defensive Player of the Year just won his second Finals MVP honor. Leonard averaged 30.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists for the Toronto Raptors in the 2019 playoffs.

Paul George was a finalist for the 2019 MVP award. He put up 28.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 2018-19 while shooting 43.8 percent from the field, 38.6 percent from beyond the arc and 83.9 percent from the free-throw line.

As we all know, both Leonard and George are elite perimeter defenders. The Clippers' defense in 2019-20 is going to be incredible. Along with Kawhi and PG, LAC also has Patrick Beverley and Montrezl Harrell.
