Joakim Noah moved across the country from New York City when the Los Angeles Clippers signed him on a 10-day deal right before the suspension of the season. Noah's neighbors may have breathed a sigh of relief when they found out he left NYC for L.A.

According to Oli Coleman of Page Six, Noah's fellow residents at his West Side condo building apparently requested the 35-year-old be banned from the gym because he reportedly used it as if it was his own NBA facility while waiting for an NBA team to pick up his services.

Noah reportedly also brought in his own trainer who would often transition their workouts with a whistle that irked his neighbors. The report also claimed that the neighbors sent their grievances to the building to ask the former All-Star big man to stop. However, Noah did not budge.

Joakim Noah knows a thing or two about controversy, so this isn't really a complete surprise. Throughout his career, the former Florida Gator had quite the number of run-ins with others, most notably with LeBron James and Kevin Garnett. Certainly, the hard-nosed center never backs down from anybody.

Noah did not have a chance to suit up for the Clippers yet prior to the NBA season's suspension. The last time the 35-year-old stepped foot on an NBA court was in March 2019, when he played for the Memphis Grizzlies.

In 42 games last year, Noah put up nightly averages of 7.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. With the NBA season on hold, it remains to be seen if Noah will eventually play for LA.
