The Los Angeles Clippers are doing everything they can to force a Game 7 against the Phoenix Suns in the Western Conference Finals. While Ivica Zubac and Kawhi Leonard remain out, the latter has decided to make a change that might bode well for the Clippers' fortunes as they return to Staples Center.

In Game 3, Leonard was in a suite with his family, and– of course– got ripped apart by fans and analysts who were upset that he wasn't on the bench supporting his teammates. Perhaps Leonard is feeling better and decided to join them for Game 6 on the bench.

In any case, his status for the series is in serious jeopardy if it were to go to a Game 7. The Clippers will need an all-time performance from Paul George to have a shot at having another game.

Leonard has always been a private person, and his decision to watch from the suite should not have been sp surprising as it was. Either way, him joining his team should help their confidence and should also help them find a way to get the job done, as he remains one of the best basketball minds in the entire NBA.

If this is the last game, Leonard did the right thing by joining his team.
