Los Angeles Clippers star small forward Kawhi Leonard recorded the first triple-double of his career in a 122-117 win over the Miami Heat on Friday.

Leonard put up 33 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists against the Heat. The two-time Finals MVP didn't know of his achievement until Clippers assistant coach Tyronn Lue told him in the fourth quarter:

“It's just a great honor,” Kawhi Leonard said, via ESPN. “But I'm just more happy with the win. I just feel good that we came in here and got a win tonight. I believe going into the fourth Coach Lue told me, ‘Congratulations.' And I didn't know what he was talking about and he said I got my first triple-double so that's when I was aware.”

With the win, the Clippers improved to 32-14 on the season. They are in third place in the Western Conference standings.

Leonard has appeared in 35 games this season for the Clippers. He's averaging 27.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.1 assists while shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 35.9 percent from beyond the arc and 89.3 percent from the free-throw line.

The Clippers are 27-8 when Leonard is in the lineup. LA is still playing without swingman Paul George and combo guard Patrick Beverley. It's unknown when they will be back in the lineup.

The Clippers are back in action on Sunday when they take on the Orlando Magic.
