Los Angeles Clippers All-Star Kawhi Leonard is expected to play a major role in leading the team to its first-ever championship. According to reports, he won't be in any type of load management this season, which is good considering he missed 22 games last season because of it. Moreover, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints is reporting that he's starting to be more active in training camp.

Leonard is coming off a successful 2018-19 campaign with the Toronto Raptors which concluded in a championship victory. The reigning Finals MVP then left the team to join the Clippers this summer as he wanted to return to his hometown. He and fellow All-Star Paul George will be LA's cornerstones for the next few years, and Clippers fans are already expecting them to deliver multiple championships.

Speaking of George, he's still recovering from multiple surgeries he had earlier this year. He won't be suiting up with the Clippers in their opening night matchup against the Los Angles Lakers, and he's expected to miss at least the month of October as he continues to get better. He's already starting to do some light work in the Clippers' training camp, according to reports, and barring any setback, he could be back on the court as early as the first or second week of November.

The Clippers knew that both of their stars have been dealt with injuries in the past even before they were acquired by the team. The management believes that once everyone on the roster is 100 percent healthy, they have a legitimate shot at winning the title, which is true. A healthy Leonard and George will definitely do damage, especially on the defensive end, and they will definitely be a major problem for the rest of the league.
