The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the top 3-point shooting teams in the league, and they're especially outstanding on corner triples. But what is wild is they have taken so few of them:

The Clippers rank second in the league in overall 3-point percentage at 38.7, just three percentage points below the league-leading Golden State Warriors.

Corner 3-pointers are a huge part of the game and the most efficient triples available given their proximity to the bucket. But despite the Clippers' incredible success from this area, they just aren't taking that many.

In fact, LA isn't taking many 3-pointers at all despite the success rate. The Clippers are one of 11 teams attempting under 30 triples per game. They're at 25.2 3-pointers per game, which is 27th in the NBA.

While LA isn't taking many 3-pointers and could stand to take a few more, especially from the corners, the offense has been terrific overall. Obviously, making those treys at a high rate helps, but the offense also scores effectively in other ways, like at the free-throw line. LA is currently seventh in offensive rating, per NBA.com.

The Clippers are 8-5 on the season and sitting in the No. 4 spot in the Western Conference.
