The Los Angeles Clippers organization lost one of its members as 26-year-old employee Assane Dramè was involved in a fatal car accident. He had been working under the team's digital media department.

The Clippers released a statement on the tragic news.

Via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN:

“The Clippers organization mourns the loss of Assane Drame, a dedicated employee, a talented videographer and a loyal friend,” the team said in a statement. “He was a hard worker and a gentle soul, passionate about his craft and kind to his colleagues, earning the respect and admiration of players, coaches and staff.”

Assane's sister confirmed the news on Twitter after his family lost contact with him. He was last seen picking up equipment from the Clippers' administrative office in downtown LA following his work from the team's media day.

“I wanted to personally thank everyone that helped to find information on the whereabouts of my brother, Assane Drame. I tried to reach out to as many people as I could personally. I’m sorry if this is how you find out, but unfortunately Assane passed away from car accident.”

At his young age, Dramè had already started building his reputation within the organization and was well-respected by his peers and players alike. Clippers stars Nicolas Batum and Terance Mann both reacted to his passing.

Prayers up for Assane Dramè and his family.
