The LA Clippers are listing shooting guard Landry Shamet as questionable to play against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.

Shamet has a left ankle injury which he sustained during Sunday's game against the New York Knicks. He left the match during the third quarter of the game after slipping on the floor and did not return. The Clippers defeated the Knickerbockers at Madison Square Garden by a final score of 124-113.

The Clippers are 44-30 on the season, which is good for fifth place in the Western Conference standings. The team is 9-1 in its last 10 games and currently on a five-game winning streak.

Los Angeles acquired Landry Shamet from the Philadelphia 76ers at the February trade deadline in the Tobias Harris trade. The rookie has appeared in 18 games with the Clippers and is averaging 11.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists while shooting 41.7 percent from the field, 45.5 percent from beyond the arc and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line.

Head coach Doc Rivers told reporters on Sunday he's expecting Shamet to miss a few games. The Timberwolves have already been eliminated from the playoffs, so they have nothing to play for. The Clippers should be able to defeat Minnesota easily on Tuesday.

After the Minnesota game, Los Angeles has seven games left in the regular season.
