The LA Clippers have been anxiously awaiting the NBA's 2019-20 restart in Orlando, and we now know a lot more about what their return will look like. On Friday, the league announced the schedule for the remainder of the 2019-20 schedule.

Here's what the LA Clippers' (44-20) schedule will look like:

7/30: vs. Los Angeles Lakers – TNT
8/1: vs. New Orleans Pelicans – ESPN
8/4: vs. Phoenix Suns – NBATV
8/6: vs. Dallas Mavericks – TNT
8/8: vs. Portland Trail Blazers- TNT
8/9: vs. Brooklyn Nets – NBATV
8/12: vs. Denver Nuggets – ESPN
8/14: vs. Oklahoma City Thunder – TBD

The Clippers open up against the Lakers team they suffered their last loss of the season to, pre-hiatus. At 49-14, the Clippers begin the schedule five and a half games behind the Lakers for the first overall seed in the Western Conference. After winning the first two games in thrilling fashion, Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers fell to the Lakers in their third meeting on March 8th, just a few days before the NBA was officially put on pause.

LA then goes to take on Zion Williamson for the first time this season, which should make for an entertaining game considering what's on the line for the New Orleans Pelicans and their playoff hopes.

The notable games on the schedule aside from the first two are the games on August 8th against the Portland Trail Blazers and August 9th against the Brooklyn Nets, marking the Clippers' only back-to-back of the restart. Leonard has sat out at least one half of back-to-back sets this season, and with the injury risk high following three months removed from game action, it wouldn't be surprised to see the Clippers play it safe. That goes not only for Kawhi, but for the core players like George, Williams, Harrell, and Zubac.

The Clippers finish off against Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder (40-24), who were surprisingly entrenched in the Western Conference playoff race prior to the hiatus.

Guard Lou Williams has gone on record to say that he's 50-50 on the NBA's return, but as of right now, there's no indication that he'll sit out when the Clippers resume their championship chase in a month.
