Los Angeles Clippers guard Reggie Jackson has divulged what the team will do to allow Paul George to do his thing on the offensive end.

On Saturday, the Clippers failed to continue where they left off and suffered an upset 104-99 loss to the Sacramento Kings. Paul George had a bad night, hitting only five of his 21 shots.

However, Reggie Jackson remains confident George will bounce back and he assures other guys on the floor will do their part to support their All-Star teammate.

“We got a superstar like Paul [George], guys are gonna throw all kinds of schemes at him so we have to be prepared for whatever scheme it is and we have to be just in our spots,” Jackson said via The Orange County Register.

“The better we get in our spots, the better we have great spacing, it will give him space to play and it will give the rest of us space to play as well,” he continued. “Not only just out of these double teams, but just making it easy reads to understand what gaps they have when we’re attacking.”

Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue, on the other hand, sees the need to run the plays he had designed for the team, something they failed to pull off against the Kings.

“We had the plays that were there to be made,” Lue said postgame. “We just didn’t make them.”

The Clippers will be looking to get back to their winning ways when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday.
