With just a few days before the restart of the NBA 2019-20 season, Los Angeles Clippers guard Lou Williams reminded everyone of the team's depth.

Via Twitter, Williams asked an interesting question. Whether or not he's really curious, NBA fans — whether Clippers diehards or not — know that Williams is referring to himself and teammate Montrezl Harrel. Before the 2019-20 season was suspended, Williams was averaging 18.7 points per game. Note that in 60 games, he only started eight times. Harrell, meanwhile, averaged 18.6 points in 63 games (two starts).

Their bench production, coupled with the fact that they have two of the best two-way players in the league in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, has made the Clippers one of the top favorites to win the title this year.

Unlike other teams who completely rely on one player to do the scoring chores, the Clippers are a standout. They have a total of four players who can flat out swish the net. Defenses have to remain honest at all times.

This dynamic has worked wonders all season long. The Clippers have notched a 44-20 record for second-best in the West. Analysts believe that it's either the Clippers or the LA Lakers who'll represent the West in the NBA Finals.

Despite their success and high-praises, controversy hasn't eluded the team. Note that the Clippers have opted to Leonard to sit out due to “load management.” This has led to criticisms but the Clippers stuck to their guns, believing that this move will benefit them more in the long run — especially in the postseason.
