Los Angeles Clippers veteran guard Lou Williams is still iffy on reuniting with his teammates in Orlando, Florida for the 2019-20 NBA season restart, and Kendrick Perkins is not happy about it.

According to the retired NBA center and current ESPN analyst, the Clippers' chance at winning the 2020 championship hinge on bringing Williams into the fold and into the season resumption.

“It’s no way in Hell the Clippers can win a Championship without Lou Will!” the 35-year-old one-time NBA champion wrote in a tweet on Tuesday afternoon. “[Clippers head coach] Doc [Rivers] better get Kawhi and PG together and go pull up at Lou Will house like they did DeAndre Jordan a few years ago.”

While stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are the clear top dogs on the Clippers, head coach Doc Rivers has also relied heavily on the off-the-bench talents of Lou Williams throughout his tenure as head coach of the team.

A three-time Sixth Man of the Year winner, Lou Will actually led the Clips in scoring before 2019-20. He is also often considered as one of the best, if not the greatest sixth man in the history of the NBA.

Approaching the end of his third year with the Clippers, Williams has averaged 20.6 points and 5.4 assists in 214 regular-season appearances. In the playoffs (in six total games), Williams averaged 21.7 points and 7.7 assists in just shy of 30 minutes per game.

It remains to be seen whether Sweet Lou will join the Clippers or not. However, as Kendrick Perkins said, the team needs him if they want to ensure that they have the Larry O'Brien trophy in the bag.
