Tuesday night was not kind for the L.A. Clippers and shooting guard Lou Williams.

The Clippers blew a 24-point lead to the Washington Wizards in the nation's capital and ended up losing by a final score of 125-118. On top of the loss, Lou Williams suffered his first career ejection after arguing with a referee about the foul calls he was not getting.

Williams played 23 minutes and finished with 17 points, two rebounds, and three assists. He only attempted two shots from the free-throw line.

Lou Williams doesn't have a reputation of going after referees and arguing with them, so the microwave scorer must have been pretty upset if he felt he needed some more clarification from the refs. The Clippers were called for 28 personal fouls, while the Wizards committed 20. LA shot 18 free throws in comparison to Washington's 39. When there's a huge free-throw disparity like that, it's not a surprise Lou Williams and the Clippers were upset by the officiating.

The loss on Tuesday snapped a five-game winning streak for the Clippers, who are now 11-6 on the season and 4-5 on the road. LA gave up 39 points to the Wizards in the fourth quarter and only scored 23. Head coach Doc Rivers can't be happy with how his team executed down the stretch.

The Clippers will look to get back in the win column on Friday when they host the Memphis Grizzlies at Staples Center.
