Los Angeles Clippers' guard Lou Williams hilariously replied to U.S. President Donald Trump Saturday on Twitter, following the former's claim that he won the contest despite all major news organizations calling the race for his opponent Joe Biden.

Never shy about voicing his opinion on social media, the noted Magic City wings fan, replied to the 45th president with a blue cap emoji used to imply when someone is exaggerating their claims. For those unfamiliar with Twitter parlance, Urban Dictionary describes the blue cap picture as a “sophisticated emoji referred to whenever someone is “cappin” which means you're either lying or over exaggerating your actions to meet someone else’s expectations.”

Not only is Williams one of many NBA stars that have taken delight in trolling a president they have often used as a foil throughout his four years in office—with LeBron James seeming to particularly enjoy the calling of the election—but he is apart of an organization that has been more upfront about their opposition to the current administration than most others.

Clippers owner Steve Ballmer is among the most prolific donors, contributing nearly $15 million to bail reform, supporting affirmative action, as well as gun safety and violence prevention. Former Clippers coach Doc Rivers has been among the most vocal detractors of President Donald Trump. Beyond his moving, emotional remarks on social justice and the need for police reform, Rivers continued to be a driving force of inspiration for players inside the bubble and was not beyond making the occasional joke at the president's expense, once remarking that an empty press conference room during the NBA playoffs, ‘looked like a Trump rally.'

With the call Saturday afternoon that a new U.S. President will be sworn in on January 20th, the NBA community will almost certainly be rejoicing, even if it means that the prime target of their jokes, won't be quite so readily available.
