The L.A. Clippers finally had their impressive six-game winning streak snapped by the Utah Jazz on Saturday, However, it was just another day at the office for shooting guard Lou Williams.

Williams has been one of the most explosive scorers in the entire 2017-18 NBA season. He has now joined some elite company after recording 31 points and 10 steals against the Jazz. According to Tomar Azarly of ClutchPoints, he is the first player since NBA legend Michael Jordan to register at least 30 points and 10 steals in a game.

Although Williams is mostly known for his scoring prowess, he has done an excellent job of flexing those sticky fingers of his lately. As a result, Williams has garnered plenty of attention as a potential darkhorse candidate to be in the 2018 NBA All-Star Game. Based on his numbers this season, there is certainly plenty of reason to believe so.

As the Clippers have continued to suffer one key injury after another, Williams' workload has gradually started to increase. As a result, his statistics continue to grow at a rapid rate with each month. The dynamic combo guard is now averaging 30.1 points, 5.9 assists, and nearly a steal in January alone. Even more impressive, is that Williams has been scoring with extreme efficiency after shooting 46.1 percent from the field and 40.7 percent from the 3-point line during that time as well.

Unfortunately, his big night was spoiled by the Clippers' 125-113 loss to the Jazz. However, Williams did manage to walk away with the memory of a truly historic game.
